My approach.
What I Offer
Medication Management
Though I offer different treatment modalities, medication is often an integral part of treating psychiatric disorders. My approach includes a thoughtful use of stimulants, non-stimulants, antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and other classes of medications, with the goal of optimizing benefit at the lowest effective dose, minimizing side effects, and complementing other strategies to build lasting coping skills. I also offer GeneSight testing for patients who have had multiple medication trials with little success.
Psychotherapy & Life Skills Coaching
I offer Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy to help children, teens, and young adults understand and cope with their emotions, develop healthier thought patterns, and cultivate behaviors that support their overall well-being, such as sleep hygiene, proper nutrition, and engaging in purposeful activities. Life Skills coaching focuses on developing skills such as time management, money management, interpersonal communication and conflict resolution, and other relevant areas.
Psychoeducation
I provide in-depth education on neurobiology, psychotropic medications, and other relevant topics to empower you and your child with the knowledge and understanding for collaborative treatment planning. Drawing from my medical and psychiatry training, as well as my personal experiences with mental health, I offer guidance in navigating and having ownership of your mental health journey.
Parent Management Training
Parent Management Training is the gold-standard, evidence-based behavioral intervention developed by Dr. Alan Kazdin. The treatment targets children ages 2-15 with behaviors typically rooted in conditions like ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). It aims to give parents the skills and tools to foster more positive relationships with their children and decrease challenging behaviors by encouraging and reinforcing healthier ones.
Lab Testing & Nutraceuticals
When appropriate, I offer functional lab testing and recommend targeted nutraceutical supplementation to support brain health and overall functioning. My goal is to use these tools to complement other treatments and to address the underlying biological factors that may be contributing to symptoms.
Academic & Occupational Support
With a deep understanding of the impact of mental health on academic and work performance, I advocate for your or your child’s to ensure that you have the support and resources necessary to thrive in these critical areas of life.
Integrative Care Coordination
Recognizing that mental health is intimately connected to all aspects of life, I coordinate and collaborate with other providers and specialists to ensure cohesive, quality care across all domains of functioning. Through collaboration and communication, I work to create a network of support that promotes overall well-being.

Fees & Billing
How does the cash-based payment system work?
As a psychiatrist committed to providing the highest quality, personalized care, I have chosen to structure my practice on a cash-based payment system. This means that I do not participate in insurance plans directly, allowing me to focus my time and energy on what matters most: understanding and meeting your child's unique needs. Payment is due at the time of service, and I will provide you with a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. During our initial consultation, I will discuss my fees and payment options with you transparently, ensuring that you feel comfortable and informed about the investment you are making in your or your child's well-being. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and a shared commitment to your healing and growth.
